After my TIE lesson

I would have to say im glad they answered the questions on author's purpose. The google docs was fun for them because they got to type in thier favorite colors and they really liked that. AT the same time they gathered their thoughts and for the most part really answeres the questions right. I believe they are taking thier reading TAKS test today as i speak so i hope my lesson really helped them out a lot.

TIE PLAN

For my TIE lesson i wanted to a lesson that was very important for my students. I chose reading and comprehending, drawing conclusions and authors's purpose. This was something that a knew my students struggles with, especially author's purpose. So what better way to have my TIE on that specific area. Pre post TIE lesson

During my TIE lesson my topic will be "Author's purpose". This is a topic that my students struggle on and i though that i would focus on this using good docs. It is a skill that is well known on the TAKS test and gives my students more practice buy answering author's purpose on google docs
